Stem Cell Research

Adult stem cells should receive more funding than they already receive due to their astounding potential. Adult stem cells can be programmed to perform as an embryonic stem cell, but without harming an embryo. Embryonic stem cell research has its own potential, but it goes against the Dicky-Wicker Amendment. This policy goes along with the Dicky-Wicker Amendment and re-establishes President Bush’s executive order

Illegal Immigration

When an illegal immigrant is being deported, the country, which the illegal immigrant is from, will receive tariffs.  This will help alert those countries about illegal immigration.

Outsourcing to India

Regarding the Outsourcing of Jobs to India, Companies are currently required to disclose the location of their call centres.  With this policy, if companies call centre is or is moved overseas the company will not be able to receive federal grants and loans.  This policy will be passed, as a law, through the legislative branch and enforced by the executive branch.

Chinese Labor Issues

In order to help solve the Chinese Labor Issues, the US should establish human rights as the primary focus of the U.S.-China diplomacy. This way, the U.S. can help aid China in improving their working conditions and meet the interests of China’s workers.

Soldiers in Afghanistan

Regarding troops stationed in Afghanistan, America will continue to help push Taliban out.  America will stay and provide bases in Afghanistan for troops to regroup.  Also, other countries and the UAL will be asked to aid in driving Al Qeada out of Afghanistan.

Genocide in Darfur

In regard to this, the US government should consult and push the UN to send troops to evacuate the victims in Darfur. This would show that we want to help, but we don’t want to be the only ones responsible and losing troops. The UN should be held accountable for this because they have said “never again” to genocide.
